Today's Copywriter d.o.o., Ozaljska ul. 132, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, is the data controller for personal data collected through todayscopywriter.com and through the course of providing copywriting services.
Depending on how you interact with the site: your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name, billing address and VAT ID (for orders), the contents of any project brief you submit (which may include links, files, and notes about your business), and standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected via analytics only after you consent to it.
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Responding to a project-brief enquiry | Contract performance / legitimate interest, prior to a contract |
| Processing and fulfilling an order | Performance of a contract |
| Issuing invoices and meeting bookkeeping obligations | Legal obligation (Croatian tax and accounting law) |
| Site analytics (Google Analytics 4) | Consent — loaded only after you opt in via the cookie banner |
| Responding to a legal or data-subject request | Legal obligation / legitimate interest |
See the table above — each processing purpose is matched to its GDPR Article 6 basis.
Project and order data is kept for the duration of our working relationship and afterwards for as long as Croatian tax and accounting law requires us to retain invoicing records. Enquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted or anonymised after 24 months of inactivity. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics 4's standard retention settings.
Under the GDPR, you can ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it if it's wrong; delete it, subject to our legal retention obligations; restrict or object to certain processing; and receive a portable copy of data you provided to us. To exercise any of these, email support@todayscopywriter.com. We'll respond within one month.
Where a processor is located outside the EU/EEA, we rely on that processor's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism.
For any question about this policy or your data, contact support@todayscopywriter.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian supervisory authority, AZOP (Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb), or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
